What progressive strength training means
Muscle and strength come from asking your body to do a little more than last time, consistently, for months. That is progressive overload, and it is simple on paper. In practice it falls apart for three reasons: people do not log what they lifted, they add weight before the movement is right, or they change programs every few weeks.
Coaching fixes all three. Every set goes in the app, so your coach knows exactly what last week looked like. Weight goes up on a schedule. The program stays the same long enough to work.
Technique first
We would rather fix your squat for two months than let you stack weight on a broken pattern. Real form instruction, rep by rep, is what lets you keep progressing for years instead of stalling or getting hurt in month three. On a private floor there is no audience while you learn, which makes it a lot easier to get it wrong a few times first.
Strength training for fat loss
If your goal is losing fat, lifting is still the foundation. Muscle is what keeps you looking firm rather than just smaller as the weight comes off, and it is what a calorie deficit takes first if you do not train. Many clients who come in wanting to lose a belly find the answer is less cardio and more lifting, alongside a deficit they can keep. More on that on our weight loss page.
If you have lifted before
We coach intermediate and advanced lifters too. The usual story is a plateau: the same weights for months, a program pulled from the internet, no record of what worked. A coach brings structure back, finds the weak point in the lift, and writes the next block around it.
One honest limit: stage bodybuilding prep is not our specialty. We will say so at the assessment if that is your goal.
