Why a private floor changes things
Plenty of women who want to lift never start, or start and stop, because of the room rather than the training. Being watched while learning a deadlift. Waiting for the one free rack. Unsolicited advice between sets. A private studio removes all of it. Sessions are booked, there are no classes, and for the hour you are training the floor is yours.
That makes it easier to ask questions, get a lift wrong a few times while you learn, and focus on the work instead of the audience.
Lifting will not make you bulky
It is the most common worry, and it is understandable. In practice, building a lot of muscle takes years of deliberate training and eating for it. What most women see from strength training is the opposite of bulk: a firmer, more defined shape, better posture, and clothes fitting differently before the scale moves much at all.
Strength training is also what keeps muscle on while you lose fat, which is the difference between looking leaner and just looking smaller. More on that on our strength training page.
Built around real life
- Your schedule. Two to five coached sessions a week, and 24/7 access to the private floor for anything extra.
- Your body. We have coached women through PCOS, back pain, knee injuries and recovery after surgery. Tell us at the assessment and the program starts from what your body can safely do today.
- Your food. Nutrition coaching built around how you already eat, not a meal plan that ignores your week.
- Your language. Coaching in English, Portuguese or Spanish.
Your first month
Expect the first few weeks to be about technique, not punishment. You will be sore early on, and that is normal, but soreness is not the scoreboard. The scoreboard is the logbook: more weight or more reps on the same lifts, week after week, with measurements and photos alongside so you can see what the mirror is too slow to show you.
