Five things to check before you hire any trainer
Whether you train with us or someone closer to home, these are the questions that separate coaching from expensive supervision:
- Coach to client ratio. One coach watching a room is a class. One coach with one client is personal training. Ask which you are buying.
- Custom programming. Ask to see how your program will be built. If it is the same template everyone gets, you are paying for a person to read it out loud.
- Nutrition. Training without food habits is half the job. Ask whether nutrition is part of the coaching or an upsell.
- Follow through. Ask what happens if you miss a week. A good coach notices. A sales floor does not.
- Honest pricing. Ask about contracts, annual fees and what happens when you want to stop. You should get straight answers.
How Mission Gym answers those five
- Ratio: one coach, one client, every session. No classes.
- Programming: written for your body, your injuries and your training history, logged set by set in the coaching app.
- Nutrition: part of the coaching. Portions, protein and groceries, adjusted weekly against your results.
- Follow through: weekly weigh-ins, measurements and photos. Your coach sees the work between sessions.
- Pricing: no annual commitment and no hidden fees. Prices are not published; you get a straight number at the free assessment.
Training from Pompano Beach
The studio sits 3.2 miles south of Pompano Beach City Hall in a straight line, in Oakland Park. Clients from Pompano usually pick two or three coached sessions a week and use the 24/7 access for anything extra, so they are not driving down more often than they want to. Parking is on site.
If the drive will not happen as often as your goal needs, say so at the assessment. We would rather plan around a real schedule than an ideal one, and for anyone who cannot get to the floor, online coaching exists.
